Front endpapers with minor pencil annotations and a small bookshop label. Gilt to top edge of textblock dulled with some staining evident. Base of textblock also with staining. Binding firm. Fading on front and back boards leaving dark line on front and some visible staining. Slight bubbling to cloth on front and mild fraying and corner bumping front and back. Some fraying and crushing to spine ends with some marks. Gilt dulled. Book has backwards lean.
