About Andrew Davies (Consultant Palliative Medicine, Consultant Palliative Medicine, Royal Surrey County Hospital)

Dr Andrew Davies is a Consultant in Palliative Medicine from the United Kingdom. He has a long-standing clinical / research interest in breakthrough cancer pain (BTcP). He was the chair of the working group that produced the APM recommendations on BTcP, contributed to the EONS guidelines on BTcP, and has written numerous peer reviewed journal articles on the subject. He is current President of the APM, and is President-Elect of the MASCC.
