Research and Teaching Reviews

'This book is excellent and invaluable; distinctive and particular, it offers a very valuable contribution both for the increasing numbers with specialist expertise in this area and the increasing numbers for whom it is an area they need and want to understand.' - Alan Jenkins, Professor Emeritus, Oxford Brookes University, UK 'I think it represents a very considerable achievement and a major contribution to the field. For me, its strengths lie in the fact it succeeds in blending theory, empirical research and practical examples and experiences in a convincing and stimulating way.' - John Brennan, Director for the Centre of Higher Education Research and Information, Open University, UK 'This book is excellent, a 'must read' for academics, students or other stakeholders interested in debates about integrating research and teaching, or in pedagogic research and evidence-based teaching.' - Imogen Taylor, Social Policy and Social Work
