About Barry Clifford

Barry Clifford grew up in Cape Cod. For a while the Whydah took second place to marriage, family and a career as a teacher. Today Clifford is one of the world's top underwater explorers. Paul Perry has co-written three New York Times bestsellers and is a member of the Whydah expedition team.
