I am new to quilting and I am so glad I have read this book first before starting my first quilt. Bonnie's technique of using leaders & enders is brilliant. I love the fact that whilst you are making one quilt you are putting everything together to make another. Bonnie's idea is such a simple one but so effective and handy. It's such a brilliant idea that once you try it, you will wonder why you've never used it before. Bonnie takes you right through the technique and how best to use it. Then through the book Bonnie gives you a number of different designs you can make in all the different parts you have been making. I love the fact that the designs are ones that you can use different colours of fabric and they are brought together to make an amazing design. The use of mixtures of colours to create
an amazing design in itself is fantastic. I love the fact throughout the book
you are given good descriptions explaining how and what you do to make the quilts. There are also clear pictures as well as illustrations to make it even easier to understand the techniques and projects. If you've got lots of small pieces of fabric then I can guarantee you'll be able to use them up if you purchase this book. Once you start using the technique you'll be excited at the fact that you can make extra quilts in such a small amount of time.I am very excited about this book. It really has opened my eyes to the technique and the usefulness of using leaders & enders whenever you are making a quilt.
