This text is a resource for Key Stage 3 and GCSE Geography dealing with local and regional case studies in the UK. Each chapter looks at a different geographical theme, linked to the new Key Stage 3 Programme of Study, and focuses on two or more case studies from different regions. The topics covered are rivers, coasts, weather and climate, ecosystems, population, settlement, economic activities, transport, development and environmental issues. Question boxes help to focus and clarify each case study, providing the student with an enquiry based approach.
