The third edition of the "Collins German Dictionary" has been updated and revised to include the vocabulary of current issues - ageism, animatronics, CJD, infomercial, Ofwat - and also gives full details of all the German spelling reforms introduced in 1996. The "Language in Use" section has been reworked using corpus-based examples. Its new layout makes this practical guide easier to consult and is now linked to the dictionary text with user-friendly symbols in the margins. This approach allows the user to navigate directly from the work in the dictionary text to further means of expression in the central section.
