Handbook of Intercultural Training Summary

Handbook of Intercultural Training by Daniel (Dan) R. Landis

Completely revised and updated, the new edition of the Handbook of Intercultural Training reviews and summarizes the state of the art in the field of intercultural training. Organized into three sections, the book first deals with the theoretical and methodological issues inherent in understanding intercultural relations and training. The second part considers the contexts in which training takes place as well as some specific techniques. In the final section, issues specific to particular parts of the world are dealt with. These include Eastern Europe, China, Central and South America and Israel, which have all faced turbulent times in the last decade.
