About David L. Edwards
David Edwards was a fellow of All Souls, Oxford, Dean of Norwich and Provost of Southwark. As the SCM publisher he was responsible for the publication of Honest to God. He is well known as a serious historian, as well as for commenting on trends and the current situation of the churches. He has written Christianity: The first 2000 years (1998) and After Death? (1999). He lives in Winchester.
