A-Z Nottingham Street Atlas by Geographers' A-Z Map Company Ltd
The front cover has been redesigned and includes a coloured circular symbol with the words: 'Nottingham Large Scale City Centre'. This new edition has extended coverage to the north east and south east and the binding has been changed to perfect binding. There is also a new spiral bound edition of this publication which has been given the same edition number (5) as it has the same contents and coverage so that the two formats can remain in conjunction for future editions. The continuous coverage extends from central Nottingham to Hucknall and Calverton to the north, Epperstone, Radcliffe on Trent and Cotgrave to the east, Keyworth and Gotham to the south and Breaston, Sandiacre, West Hallam and Heanor to the west. Bingham has separate coverage on pages 50-51. Large scale city centre mapping of Nottingham is featured on pages 4-5. All of these 78 pages of street map coverage are shown on the key map on pages 2-3. The Contents and Reference panel on page 1 shows a new colour scheme that depicts important buildings with different colour infills e.g. educational establishments have an orange infill and hospitals and hospices have a green infill. Roads that have restricted access are shown with a purple infill and pedestrianized roads have a pink infill. Fire Stations and Post Offices are now shown by red squares and stars respectively, while Police Stations are represented by a blue triangle. Parking symbols are shown in blue. The scale is shown in metric as well as imperial. The 31 pages of street index include selected places of interest which are highlighted in red type.
