This book presents a concise introductory text, covering the core topics of cognitive psychology in one short volume. The book highlights information about cognitive approaches to psychological functioning, thus can also be easily read by those with little previous knowledge of the subject. It covers a wide range of material that is in-depth and to a high academic standard. The volume starts by explaining the context of the subject, then proceeds to explain approaches, perception, attention, knowledge and language, each of which are broken down into several chapters.
