The star male dancer of the Moulin Rouge and a beautiful young woman have been murdered. Their naked bodies are found entwined in a blood splattered dressing room. A squatter is killed in a nearby flat, his throat chewed open, the teeth marks human. Seemingly unconnected deaths that reveal a sinister pattern of Montmartre property scams fuelled by crack dealing and prostitution. Inspector Maurice Laice is plagued by a lesbian boss who bombards him with tales of her sexual adventures. Yet they make a good team, each obsessed for different reasons by the crimes at hand.
