This work on rabbits has been substantially enlarged with four new chapters and has been thoroughly revised to reflect all the changes that have occurred during the past years. Colour illustrations of all the breeds are included. Particular emphasis is placed on the rabbit as a companion animal, on welfare and on the prevention of disease and the maintenance of health. Details of ten new breeds are provided.
