Summary
The dragons are flying south, but Dando, the last of the dragons to be born, is still learning to fly. Abandoned by his mother, Dando must learn to survive alone. Only an orphaned slave girl offers him hope. She knows he is a magical creature, and their special friendship keeps them safe.
