This collection provides a range of canticles and short intercessions for the morning and evening of each day of the week and festivals. Most of the canticles are taken from Scripture and are to be found in the service books of the Anglican Church and of other denominations, whilst a few have been selected for this purpose for the first time. The intercessions come from the Taize Office or are adapted from the Liturgy of the Hours or are written by John Michael Mountney. The book is designed to be compatible with ASB morning and evening prayer.
