Rob da Bank is a DJ and co-founder of the UKs most acclaimed family festival, Camp Bestival. Over his extensive career he has been (among other things) a music journalist, a club promoter, a label boss, a music producer and now a wellness guru and meditation teacher. Rob was also a Radio One DJ for 12 years.
Along with his wife and artistic partner Josie, Rob launched Bestival in 2004 and was one of the first people to champion genres such as grime and dubstep on the festival scene. Camp Bestival was launched in 2008 and is known as the UK's ultimate family festival, having won Best Family Festival at the UK Festival Awards six times. Taking place over the summer holidays at Lulworth Castle on Dorsets Jurassic Coast, and now Weston Park, Shropshire, Camp Bestival combines an all-encompassing family festival experience with an action-packed camping holiday to create the ultimate Festi-Holiday!
When theyre not curating award-winning family festivals, Rob and Josie live on the Isle of Wight with their four sons. Rob and Josie have recently established Slow Motion Wellness a site with luxury accommodation for cold water therapy retreats, meditation workshops, yoga (which Josie sometimes teaches) and more. Rob is a qualified meditation teacher with a huge passion for saunas, curating a pop up in Kings Cross this January for his Slow Motion Wellness Saunas.

Josie da Bank is an artist, illustrator and co-founder of the UKs most acclaimed family festival, Camp Bestival. She is best known for her unique artistic style think post-acid house meets hippy. She has designed sleeves for her husband Robs Sunday Best Recordings compilations, curated one of Shoreditchs first stylish bars, Cocomo, and produced two of the best-loved festivals of this century Bestival and Camp Bestival. Oh, and not forgetting the small matter of raising four sons.
Her recent projects include designing bars and restaurants on the Isle of Wight, one of the few benefits of taking an enforced break from the event industry during the pandemic. Josie and Rob have also established Slow Motion Wellness a site with luxury accommodation for cold water therapy retreats, meditation workshops, yoga (which Josie sometimes teaches) and more.
