About Kate Slater

Kate Slater enjoyed a blissful childhood growing up on a beautiful farm in Staffordshire, which has provided the inspiration for many of her stories. She graduated from Kingston University in 2008 with a degree in Illustration and Animation. Magpie's Treasure is her first book.
