Summary
Henry Beaumont, constable of Warwick Castle, keeps a renowned pack of fox hounds. One hunt uncovers a body, that of a former member of Henry's household. Domesday commissioners, Ralph Delchard and Gervase Bret are in the Warwick area, and to them the man Henry has arrested seems an unlikely villan.
