About Lindsey Millar

Lindsey has a degree in microbiology and received her doctorate in fungal genetics from the University of St Andrews. She has worked as a research scientist in several laboratories, including the former Scottish Crop Research Institute and the Auckland Cancer Society Research Centre, studying an eclectic variety of microorganisms from plant parasitic nematodes to human papillomavirus. Now a writer and scientific editor, she is passionate about sharing her love of microbiology with the next generation.
