Summary

Everyone loves watching Tristan the Tumbler perform. No one can match his acrobatic skill as he cartwheels, somersaults and leaps high in the air. But Tristan is never content - he wants to do something really special. Then one day he makes a surprising discovery.

Tumbler Summary

Tumbler by Liz Filleul

Tristan the Tumbler is a master of his art, but he doubts that being an acrobat is a talent worthy of God. Instead he decides to become a monk and devote himself to good works for the poor. It soon becomes apparent that this is not his calling - he finds it difficult to keep to the routine and rules of monastery life. Realising that tumbling is the best he can offer God, Tristan creeps into the chapel one night and gives his best peformance ever. An angelic visitor confirms that Tristan's gift is pleasing to God, and the tumbler joyfully realises that he can glorify God in his work as an acrobat.
