About M Chermayeff

A director, producer, and editor, Maro Chermayeff studied filmmaking with Stan Brakhage and Bruce Kawin and was an instructor of editing and filmmaking at New York University's Graduate School of Film and Television for four years. Amy Schewel is a producer with extensive experience in research and production for documentary film and television. Most recently, Ms. Schewel was coproducer of American Masters: Juilliard. The two women, who both live in New York City, are co-producers of the American Masters feature documentary on Juilliard. Frank Rich is an op-ed columnist at The New York Times and senior writer for The New York Times Magazine. He is the author of several books about the theatre. He lives in New York City.
