A thorough overhaul of the rules of racing has led to a simpler but totally reordered rule book. This edition explains these changes and provides a wide-ranging commentary on the meaning and the use of the 1997-2000 rules and their interpretation according to both national and international case law. Each rule is taken in turn, and is followed by an explanation of its intent and its application, with reference to both US Appeal and IYRU case law where applicable.
