Something was moving at the edge of the forest, something white and small.

As a boy Tod saves the small white fawn from certain death by the King's huntsmen. Tod and the fawn grow up together, until the fawn becomes a fine, white stag, and leaves, as wild things must. But will their bond survive another, greater threat from the powerful King?
