Nicholas Parsons has long been in the business of comedy, and has played that role with many of the greats, including ten memorable years with Arthur Haynes. He has worked with many other stars: Benny Hill, Tony Hancock, Kenneth Williams and Rik Mayall. In this book he tells the story of his life, and a career which began with impersonations done while working as an engineering apprentice in Glasgow and led to the dazzling lights of the West End. Nicholas Parsons has been Chairman of Radio 4's Just a Minute for over 25 years and was host of TV's Sale of the Century for a record 14 years.
