In the 1940s and 1950s, two young Cuban musicians make their way up from Havana to New York. The Castillo brothers are workers by day and musicians by night. Their orchestra plays the mambo music that earns them the title of "The Mambo Kings". Winner of the 1989 Pulitzer Prize.
