Summary
Follows the fortunes of Nona, her mother and Nona's younger sister Sharon. The family runs away together to the seaside village in Wales which was the focus of Nona's mother's own childhood happiness. The author also wrote Midnight Blue, winner of the 1990 Smarties Prize.

About Pauline Fisk
Pauline Fisk is the author of Midnight Blue a highly original fantasy which won the Smarties Book Prize in 1990. She has also written several other children's novels including: Tyger Pool, The Beast of Whixall Moss, The Candle House and Sabrina Fludde (publishing Oct 2001). She lives with her family in Shropshire.
