Westminster Cathedral: 1895-1995 by Peter Doyle
This is the story of the building of Westminster Cathedral and its first 100 years of history, from the era of Cardinal Vaughan to 1995 and Cardinal Hume. The book centres around three main themes: the Cathedral as a national flagship for English Catholicism; the Cathedral as a building of architectural merit in its own right; and the Cathedral as the centre of the diocese of Westminster and as a parish church.
