Rebuilding the City presents an account of real estate development in British cities in the 1908s. It focuses particularly on the inter-relation between property development and urban regeneration. Drawing on data from a range of research projects, it aims to provide both a general discussion of the inter-relation between state and market in property development and those urban regions without strong economies and a specific account of the British experience.
