When Beth moves from downtown LA to Wheaton, nowheresville, she thinks life will be dull. But then she meets Jody, Wheaton's wild child, and realises that life in the country can be fun too. Jody is convinced there's gold buried in Bear Mountain, so she and Beth head off to find it.
