Summary

Pony Picasso shares her comically critical views of life with HER (her ageing two-leg keeper) and other two- and four- legged creatures, in the Scottish Highlands. In black and white of course, as she's piebald.

Picasso's Piebald Perspectives Summary

Picasso's Piebald Perspectives: ...the pony, that is, not the artist. by Ruth Whittaker

This is life seen humorously through the sardonic non-matching eyes of Willows Picasso. She never had rose-tinted specs, though they might have concealed her odd eyes. One is normal horsey-hued brownish blue, the other a disconcerting azure. She is a horse - or rather, a pony. There are no flies on her, or if so - rarely, and she tolerates the two-legged race with smug disdain. In support of this, Picasso regularly reflects upon the feeble ineptitudes of SHE, her particular two-leg, who lives with her in the Scottish Highlands.

About Ruth Whittaker

Ruth Whittaker is a retired teacher of music and writer, living at the family croft on the east coast of Sutherland, in the Scottish Highlands. Ruth has always loved horses and ponies, though she acknowledges the irony that although she now has the time and modest wherewithal to indulge her love, she's developed a craven loss of nerve for the livelier aspects of equitation. In consequence, Willows Picasso, that's her full name, a smallish but sturdy piebald mare with two speeds (dead slow, and stop) is probably now Ruth's most suitable mount...if and when Picasso's in the mood for being mounted.
