About Sharon Erzinclioglu

Dr Sharon Erzinclioglu, the widow of Dr Zakaria Erzinclioglu works as a research coordinator at the Medicial Research Council's cognition and brain sciences until at the University of Cambridge and is the author of numerous scientific papers. She is continuing her husband's campaign to establish an independent forensic science centre. Dr Zakaria Erzinclioglu was a leading forensic scientist who was involved in more than 500 murder investigations in Britain and abroad. A former Senior Research Associate at the University of Cambridge and Director of the Forensic Science Research Centre at the University of Durham, he was latterly an Affiliated Researcher at the University of Cambridge. He was advisor, co-writer and presenter of The Witness was a Fly, produced for television by BBC Bristol, and was the author of Maggots, Murder and Men and a short Sherlock Holmes story, The Adventures of the Bulgarian Diplomat.
