About Theresia Betty Sumarno

Theresia Sumarno holds a PhD in Energy Economics, Policy and Management. She has worked in the energy industry since 2009, firstly as an Auditor at Ernst & Young and subsequently as a fiscal policy analyst at the National Exploration Committee. She is an independent Energy Policy Consultant for international and intergovernmental organisations and a visiting lecturer at Universidade Eduardo Mondlane (Mozambique). Her research is not only focused on Indonesias energy transition, but additionally on fiscal and taxation issues in the energy transition, both for Indonesia and internationally.
