Scott Givot was born in Chicago in the US and has lived on Oslo, Norway for the past 5 years. He is the author of three books, Kitchen Genius: 500 Tips to Cook like a Pro (1840722843), Grilling Genius: Smokin' Hot Tips for Every day of the Year (1840725257) ( for which he has recieved the honour of Best Barbecue Book in the World at the 2005 Gourmand World Cook Book Awards) and Weber's Sizzle and Swizzle (184072790x). Scott has been a member of The International Association of Culinary Professionals since 1989 and currently serves as a Director to the board.
