Gary is telepathic, but he keeps the gift to himself, and seeks refuge among animals with whom he can communicate. When he goes to Bodmin on a school trip, a large cat is on the loose, killing sheep. Gary persuades the cat to stop worrying the sheep - can he persuade the locals to leave it alone?
