Pages are lightly tanned with fairly heavy foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Former owner's letter stuck to crinkled front free endpaper. Occasional grey thumb-marking present throughout, with a few small nicks and creases along text block edge. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with notable bumping and scuffing to corners, and mild rubbing to surfaces. Light tanning and foxing to spine and edges. Book has a slight forward lean, with pencil marks and faint water drops to front board. Gilt lettering is bright and clear.
