Upper coquetdale, northumberland: its history, traditions, folk-lore and scenery by David Dippie Dixon

1903. No edition remarks. 498 pages. No dust jacket. Signed by the author. Green cloth with gilt titles to spine and front. Flat signed by the author to title page. With 11-page index to rear. Illustrated by John Turnbull Dixon. Note: most pages of index are detached. However, text is complete. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Hinges are heavily cracked with exposed netting, thus the text is slack. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. No frontispiece present. Edge of p155 has been slightly miscut. Slight staining to margins. Slight stain to rear pastedown. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping and fraying to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Boards a little rubbed and marked overall. Slight split to head of spine. Slight water staining overall. Slight bubbling to rear. Book has a heavy forward lean. Gilt remains bright.
