Pages are mostly clear, with light tanning and foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper, with a water mark to upper corner. A few nicks and creases along text block edge, with visible thumb-marking present throughout. Slight cracking to gutters and rear hinge with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Black rub marking to gutter of pages 296-297. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with scuffing and bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and considerate rub wear to surfaces. Light tanning down spine with noticeable splits and fraying to end. Additional splitting to joint. Book has a pronounced forward lean.
