Pages are rather marked with pronounced tanning and foxing, plus thumbing. Foxing more noticeable towards the start and end of the book and on text block edges. Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper. A few dog-eared corners. Index pages slightly larger than the rest with edge tears and creases. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Boards rather rubbed and marked overall. Heavy scratches and some paint marks to rear. Gilt is dulled and worn.
