1807. Second Edition. 240 pages. No dust jacket. Quarter bound red leather spine with brown paper covered boards. Gilt lettering. Pages are heavily tanned with noticeable foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Heavy pencil markings to pastedowns and free endpapers. Front free endpaper is loose and pages 155-158 are detached but still present. Hinges are heavily cracked with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Heavy splits to spine with moderate peeling. Front board nearly detached. Visible wear marks to boards.
