1928. First Edition. 144 pages. No dust jacket. Quarter bound blue leather with blue cloth covered boards and spine gilt. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Previous owner's inscription to half title page. Heavy cracking at the hinges with exposed binding material. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout. Binding is still quite firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains. Rear board has a heavy bleach like damp stain. Leather is worn and sunned on the spine. Gilt lettering is darkened. Mild crushing to spine ends.
