All text block edges slightly green. Pages moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Insect damage to lower margins from front pastedown to p75. Previous owner's inscription to half title. Heavy cracking at the hinges with exposed binding material. Rear board is detached. Slight warping to all pages. Sporadic staining and creasing. Some occasional moderate cracking to gutters throughout, binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, and pronounced rub wear all over. Moderate crushing to spine ends, with splitting, peeling and loss to the head, tail and joints. Water staining, peeling and loss to leather. Front board loosening. Spine gilt very faint.
