Competence Based Strategic Management by Aime Heene
The competence perspective in management has introduced new concepts for developing more dynamic, systemic, cognitive and holistic approaches to the strategic management of organizations. This text brings together the central concepts in competence-based strategic management and highlights the integration of practice and theory which facilitate the use of these concepts. The fundamental concepts of using competence for successful change management are outlined, with particular reference to the use of an open system of stock and flows of assets and capabilities.
