In an epic two-month journey, reminiscent of the great flights of pioneer aviators, Brian Milton flew his tiny plane through some of the most inhospitable skies in the world. He got lost, had engine failure, made nine emergency landings, was nearly blown out of the sky by a "playful" military helicopter and at the end of his longest leg of over ten hours landed at an unlighted strip in the outback between three lighting storms in time for a major earthquake.
