About C Lloyd

THE EDITORS Chris Lloyd has professional qualifications in the fieldof occupational therapy. Chris has an extensive background in thearea of mental health and has worked in a variety of settings withpeople of different ages and a variety of needs. Her interests liein the rehabilitation of people with a mental illness, particularlysocial inclusion, recovery, and vocational rehabilitation. She iscurrently employed as a Senior Lecturer in occupational therapy atthe University of Queensland where she teaches mental health toundergraduate and postgraduate students. She is the co-author ofthe 'Handbook of Psychosocial Rehabilitation'. Geoff Waghorn has professional qualifications in thefields of psychology and psychiatry. Geoff has an extensivebackground in vocational rehabilitation for people with psychiatricdisabilities in particular. He has worked for a large provider ofAustralian Government funded vocational rehabilitation services.Geoff is currently employed as a Senior Scientist for theQueensland Centre for Mental Health Research, where he leads theVocational Rehabilitation stream within the Policy and EconomicsGroup. This research aims to improve functional recovery andvocational rehabilitation outcomes for people with mentalillness.
