Zac, a tough city kid, is not pleased when he is sent to the country for a holiday. But there he meets Smokey Joe, an eccentric knife-grinder who asks Zac to join him on his rounds. Together they begin a magical journey which eventually gives Zac the chance to the magical Excalibur.
