The Emperor of Absurdia Summary

The Emperor of Absurdia by Chris Riddell

The complete story and original illustrations of The Emperor of Absurdia by Chris Riddell have been specially re-designed into an early reader format. Created with expert advice from a literacy consultant, this special version is intended to help and encourage children who are growing in reading confidence.

Welcome to Absurdia: a strange and wonderful land where nothing is quite what it seems. Trees are birds, umbrellas are trees, and the sky is thick with snoring fish. Join one boy as he tumbles out of bed into a dreamland of wardrobe monsters, dragons - and amazing adventure.
