About Colin McNaughton

Since the publication of his first title in 1976, Colin has produced over 70 books, many of which he has both written and illustrated. Colin is renowned as a humorous poet as well as for his storybooks and is recognized as one of Britain's leading author/illustrators. His Walker titles include We're Off to Look for the Aliens, The Aliens Are Coming and Not Last Night But the Night Before, also with Emma Chichester Clark. Colin lives in London, E1. Emma Chichester Clark studied at the Chelsea School of Art and the Royal College of Art from 1980 to 1983, where she was taught by Quentin Blake. In 1988, she won the Mother Goose Award for the most exciting newcomer to children's book illustration. Her books for Walker include Goldilocks, The Pied Piper of Hamelin with Michael Morpurgo and Not Last Night But the Night Before, also with Colin McNaughton. Emma lives in London, W6.
