About David Pleasance

David John Pleasance has led an incredible life having travelled extensively living and working in Australia, Switzerland, Dominican Republic, USA and of course his native UK. In his 20's he was a professional Flamenco guitarist appearing on Television and playing extensive concerts theatres and cabaret. With a change of career he chose Sales and Marketing and in 1983 joined Commodore just after they launched the Commodore 64. He was incredibly successful with marketing and (personally) selling an estimated 2.2 million home computers. He was certainly one of the longest serving executives in Commodore with over 12 years at senior International level.
