Haswell-Smith takes a year-long voyage through the Scottish islands, presenting a different one for each week - 52 in all. Each is coupled with his own full-page watercolour illustrations of the island, as well as its history, legends, local characters and landscapes and is interspersed with personal and sailing anecdotes.
