Yi Er San Reviews

  • YAE+/- A0/00r SAGBPn takes children on a journey in Mandarin Chinese with over 25 traditional Chinese songs and nursery rhymes to enjoyEURO| The accompanying CD introduces the sounds and rhythms of the language and along with the book, makes a fun way to start a very difficult language. The rhymes also give an insight into the culture.

For appropriate family use the book is lovely and I'd also hazard a calculated opinion that many older children who are students of Mandarin Chinese will welcome this book as a brightly inviting extension of experience as an addition to textbooks and oral exercises

  • This book would be an excellent resource for Chinese parents living in an English-speaking country and wishing to help their young children to learn Mandarin...
